What this is
Conflicts of Interest defines the core boundary: people who profit from a decision should not control that decision inside WCF governance. This protects standards, verification, funding, and editorial credibility from capture.
What it is not
This policy is not a punishment for having a job. It is a disclosure-and-recusal framework to keep mission decisions clean and reviewable.
What you can do here
• Understand what must be disclosed (financial ties, close relationships, paid roles).
• See when recusal is required and how conflicts are documented.
• Learn how vendor relationships (including vendor relationships). are governed.
